Installed Wilson combat m
Installed Wilson combat mag well on my Taurus PT1911. Taurus mags did not fit with mag well installed. Purchased Colt 1911 mags and installed bumper pad on them. Works flawlessly. Will be purchasing these for additional magazine. Going to go to Colt 10 shot mags for Competition. Will recommend to other PT1911 owners.

I installed these on all my 7-round, 45 ACP mags, and I put one on my GSG-1911 22LR mag...I feel they look great, and installation is about as simple as it can get...very pleased with this product!

They serve their purpose
They serve their purpose but not much else. I put them on 2 of my Kimber mags and tapping them to make the new holes was pretty easy because of the guide but a couple of the screws had their threads stripped while trying to put them on the mags. Plus they look cheap compared to some of the other Magazine bumper pads I've had.

I have the pads on all my mags, on the stainless Steel I tapped the holes with a 4-40 tap to make things easier. They protect the mag base, but really don't at much length to it with is good for conceled carry. Other bumpers also work well but the ones I used before are more for 45's with magwells

These products come with a very simple set up. There is a drill guide, 5 bumpers, and 10 self tapping screws.The guide is simple to use, and you will need a decent drill and 3/32' bit. I've installed 3 of the 5 already. Total time to install takes about 5 min/magazine.Two 3/32' holes on the bottom of your mag using the bit guide, hand crack down the self-tapping screws, and you are done. Piece of cake. I used them for 4 standard Colt 1911 magazines - two stainless, two blued. Same procedure and level of difficulty... namely... not very.

Be advised that this kit does not come with double stick tape as advertised. You will have to drill your magazine and use self tapping screws to mount the pad.
