Will this change out easily on a Ruger Ar 556 model 8529? Plug and play or would I need to change more things?

You would need to change out your gas block, gas tube and you would probably want to get a longer hand guard.

The gas block will install on the gas block journal. This barrel has a rifle-length gas system. This measures .750 at the gas port.

In the photo of the Luth-AR Mark 12 AR-15 Barrel 18" 5.56 NATO 1-9 Twist 4140 Steel Black BL-M12, there are 2 dimples where the gas block goes. Are those the pre-drilled holes to accept the taper pins for an A2 front site?
