Aimpoint Patrol Rifle Optic @ half the price
Had this on my last CWB build. Fantastic red dot... for the price point simply cannot be beat and I've shot a LOT of optics as a rangmaster at my gun club. Everybody shows off their newest builds and when I saw this optic the first time I thought it was a Barska perhaps, after letting fly a few mags I was very impressed and is my go-to for a close/mid range AR optic under $500. Yes, I would buy this before a base model EoTech. You heard me. Pro's- Crisp reticles w/ good lighting & controls, appropriate field of view, accurately etched points for drop/distance, shock resistant. Very inexpensive magnifier and flashgrid screw-in's are available. Con- Not the sleekest lines on an optic, but if you pick your accessories for cool-value re-assess your priorities. Ok, it would have cost like 75 cents and 1 man-hour to cut a little post n' notch physical sight right on top like an ACOG... fleurescent paint anyone? That little touch would have made this a 10 out of 10 grand slam. On a 1-mil gun with a good operator behind the trigger it's dead-bore. Unless I'm going high dollar or long range: this is my AR sight.

I purchased this for my A
I purchased this for my Ak. It has worked flawlessly. It is a little bulky but built solid. The function buttons work great. The auto light adjust is awesome. When you switch reticles the Zero stays dead on. My only complaint is the shape it has a goof profile but that's cosmetic functionality wise its unbeatable for the price. I totally recommend this product.

A great red dot optic tha
A great red dot optic that has a rubber coated aluminum body and lower 1/3 co-witness. Tethered turret caps, and a nice choice of reticles that hold zero perfectly while being changed. Has a great sight picture from any distance, easy to see the reticle. Best in manual mode for me, but it also has a light sensor that works very effectively. Customer service was great and everything went smooth as always,.. thanks C.T.D.

You couldn't ask for more
You couldn't ask for more in an optic at this price point than Lucid's HD7. Aside from the rubber coated aluminum housing and the capped turrets, the reticle is based on a 2 MOA dot, which is usually seen in more expensive brands. I've had plenty of time to view what type, quality of optic, and what I can afford. Fortunately I had to wait due to money issues, hence the Poorman Prepper. The bottom line is this is one of the nicest mid level optics you can find. If you didn't see the price first, you might think it's a high dollar one. Cheaper Than Dirt has a great service dept. and super fast shipping to boot!! I couldn't ask for more.
