This extra weight will help reduce muzzle rise allowing for quicker follow up shots. Special features include a rigid Tungsten body that improves lock up by completely removing "guide rod flex".

Pros and cons? Only pro with this
I got it because it will last longer than the stock plastic one it comes with. Does it help with recoil? Not really noticable ... maybe slightly because it will make your gun heavier , so muzzle rize will be just a bit less.. but that should not be the reason for buying it. I recommend it because it will last you years , and even if you shoot everyday and all day it will last a few years.
