What gen is this?

This will fit all gens, however, the Gen 4s require an adapter.
Will this work in gen5 glock17?

Yes it should.
Some lwd conversion barrels for the glock 31 to shoot 9mm says that its recommended to use a 9mm spring/rod for better cartridge ejection. Is this that spring?
