I bought 4 of these, to u
I bought 4 of these, to use in various gun safes. When they arrived, I couldn't help but notice each gauge was showing a different % humidity, in spite of being in the same room. So I decided to test them and what I found is that if you blow hot humid air on to them, they all go up, but not all of them come back down over time to the level you started at. Because I was looking for something much more precise, I ended up having to buy something else. For less than $10, what can you expect? Well, I'd expect something that was at least in the ballpark for accuracy and not with a 30%+ range between the lowest and highest (with n=4) device, all in the same room. I mean, these guys only have to get one thing right. If you don't care about precision, then you can't beat the price!
