Accessing a gun deep in the back of a vault can be challenging. Rather than juggling an armful of long guns, deploy the Lockdown Magnetic Barrel Rest. It conveniently secures to the outside of any vault and provides a perfect staging location. Overmolded contact points protect your gun's finish, as well as the rubber back magnets to protect your vaults finish. Deploy it when needed, or leave it attached to the side of your vault.

Great for moving weapons
If you're like me, and have a a few guns in the safe, you know it's a pain if you need to get to the one in the back of the safe. Finding someplace to lean the guns in front while you wrestle the one you want free can be a bit of a pain. I bought one and it did the trick. No more rifles lying on the desk, or leaning up against the wife's lace curtains. I bought a second one for the ready safe, and that one is again, the perfect tool for the job. I bought a third one for the cleaning room when I'm cleaning the guns. With an old bath mat underneath to protect the rifle butts from a concrete floor, it's also the perfect tool for the job. I've seen a few other makes, but they are made of foam, and flex too much for my comfort, so I'm stuck on these.

Very poor quality control
I bought one a few years ago and it's worked great. I just bought another, and as soon as I opened the package, the back fell off the product. Looking it over, it was obvious that the manufacturer didn't bother to apply the glue to any of the surfaces that mate together. A completely careless and avoidable mistake. It's going back to CTD for a return now. The only reason I didn't demand my money back was the fact the first one I bought a few years ago is still working just fine. If the replacement falls apart, CTD will be refunding my money.
