Lightfield is the premier manufacturer of shotgun ammunition. While perfecting the sabot slug in the 1970's for the US Marine Corps, they 'set the standard by which all other slugs are judged'. Innovative designs and cutting edge engineering with both lethal and 'less than lethal' shotgun rounds is what Lightfield is all about. Whether you need ammunition for Hunting, Law Enforcement, Pest Control or Home Defense, Lightfield has a round for you.

Rubber Buckshot is the traditional aversive condition round for large or aggressive wildlife. Lightfield has improved this load to carry a larger payload of 21 .32 caliber balls 700 fps stopping even the most determined large unfriendly critters in their tracks. This load is designed for intermediate to close encounters with larger animals such as Bear, Moose, Elk or Deer. These 21 pellets spread into a wide pattern imparting painful stimuli over a large area with minimal risk of permanent injury.

Can I use this in a Remington 1100?
Answer: You can but rubber buckshot my not cycle and/or may not cycle well in a semi-auto. This is true for any less lethal load in any semi-auto.
What is the effective range? 40 yards?
Answer: The manufacturer recommends 9-22 yards.
is the buckshot actually rubbery or is it hard plastic pvc? pvc sounds to dangerous.
Answer: I honestly have no idea where this particular buckshot falls on the durometer scale. If you absolutely must know, a call to the manufacturer would almost certainly be your best bet to find out.
What would happen if someone were to use this against an attacker 10-20 ft away?
Answer: This ammo is likely to be lethal at those ranges.
