Saiga 12 shotguns were designed by the world renown Russian engineer Mikhail Kalashnikov, who was the mastermind behind the creation of legendary AK-47. These shotguns are developed on the base of the Kalashnikov assault rifle. Therefore, Saiga 12 inherited the best qualities of the world’s most popular firearm. Made with a minimal amount of parts and simple operating procedures the design tries its best to keep to the basics in order to provide an easy to use, highly reliable shooting platform. Saiga 12 is designed for high reliability in harsh environments. The magazines can be filled with a mixture of 2 ¾” and 3” shells allowing for a variety of ammunition to be used.
