Please Note: Lee Precision has tested this tool by intentionally igniting a variety of brands and types of primers within it. In doing so, they have confirmed that eye and ear protection are sufficient to prevent serious injury. HOWEVER, Lee Precision reports that all types of Federal Premium brand large primers frequently destroyed the entire tray with sufficient force to cause serious injury. Such primers must be fed individually; see step 7 of the included product instructions (single priming option).
