Lee Precision's Taper Crimp Dies overcome crimp problems caused by poor die design. by providing a solid crimp regardless of whether the bullet has a cannelure. Proper headspacing in rimless cartridges, and longer brass life in all firearms are among the advantages. Offers little or no advantage when used with 1986 or newer Lee Dies as the crimp angle is already a modified taper crimp.
