bought this to get my laser and light closer to the barrel for a tighter sighting angle...worked out very well and doesn't look too bad either

Great for single barrel.
Needed a locale to mount my lopro laser on my JTS M12AK, This did the trick, Pros: Easy to mount. Stays in place Cons: only one rail.

Will this fit 20 gauge shotguns?

Hello Angel! This answer to your question comes direct from the manufacturer: "This product, MNT-BR003XLS, is designed to fit shotgun barrels between 0.75” and 1.10”. The inside of a 20ga barrel is typically 0.615” which means the outside diameter is thicker and therefore has the potential of falling into the specified range. Different shotguns and different manufacturers have different outside diameters so there is not a guarantee. I can say that a large portion of 20ga shotgun barrels will fit but there are some that will not fit. Please measure the outside diameter of your 20ga shotgun barrel. If it falls between 0.75” and 1.10” then it will work."
If mounted on the barrel . . .is there clearance for the clamp between the tube and barrel . . .I want a side mount, is this it?

This item is not designed to work as a side mount. If mounted sideways it will not likely fit and potentially interfere with iron sights.
