It has integral anti-rotation tabs to prevent rotation and flex while accurately aligning it to the upper receiver. The titanium barrel nut requires little to no timing in relation to the gas tube, simply tightening the two locking screws secures the handguard in place. Made out of durable 6061-T6 Aluminum with a Type III Class II black hardcoat Anodization, this handguard will last the life of your AR-15.
