This is the simplest way to mount a reflex site, scope or red dot sight to your Ruger 10/22. This low profile rail mount from Leapers UTG screws directly to the rifle receiver and provides a 4.7" long, 11 slot Picatinny/Weaver rail. A low profile with middle V-cut permits use of iron sights. The rail is simple to install and comes with all necessary screws. It is machined from aircraft grade aluminum alloy and anodized black.

Not quite what it should be.
Went to put this on my standard Ruger 10/22 and the rear-most hole was not aligned properly - it is set slightly too far back, such that the hole does not align properly. Forcing the usual *steel* screw into this ever so slightly misaligned hole could lead to damaging the threads in the *aluminum* receiver. The hole can likely be corrected with a bit of Dremmel work on the forward side. As the other three holes align perfectly, three perfect connection points and a near-perfect fourth connection point should still provide for enough stability for any optic. Still, the holes should *NOT* be off in the first place! Also, the "low-profile" is not as low as it should be. When looking down the middle channel (which is 3/16" high) of this mount the sights are visible, but only barely - you can not see the white diamond on the rear sight. If this channel were about 1/8" high, the sights would be fully usable. As I wanted a mount that allowed for use of the iron sights without having to remove the mount, this mount does not fit the bill. If you just want a low-profile mount that has more mounting points than the standard mount the 10/22 comes with though, this will certainly fit the bill (keeping in mind the off-set rear hole that needs "adjusting"). Fortunately it was only $5 wasted, but I'd rather have not wasted any money (and neither should you). A little more effort on the part of Leapers UTG and this could be a perfect product at an exceptional price. Pros: multiple mounting points, solid material Cons: rear hole misaligned, cannot see sights fully
