I love these grips! Will buy again

Great addition at a cheap price
This thing is a lot bigger than I expected it to be, but that’s not a bad thing. I have big hands and it fits nicely. I ordered a couple of these and love them! My only hang up is that the pressure switch for one of my lights did not fit the way it was meant to and I had to tape it to the handguard. Not a deal breaker, but it would have been cool if it fit.

Excellent product
Perfect fit and extremely well made. I purchase along with the self-mounting rail and it's a great combo for anyone wanting just a single rail to mount a fore grip. Highly recommend.

Broke on first shot
The grip is great the only thing I see wrong with it is that it does not have a bolt that goes through the rail just a round bump that goes into the slot that broke on the first shot. Decent for price but needs a bolt.

Good Addition to Your AR
This is a good addition to your AR platform. It is sized right to provide a steady shooting position whether you are shooting unsupported or with a bipod. The price is right and the extra storage is nice to have.

Good As A Grip But Not For Using The Pressure Pads
Great sturdy and strong grip. Easily attaches. One BIG con for me, I tried to put my pressure switch in BUT the pads will not allow it. They don't fit in it-not enough room for it and then to put the plates back on. Really scks cause that's why I bought it! Pros: Strong and Sturdy Cons: Pressure Pads Won't Work With Pressure Switch

If you are looking for a decent grip at a decent price go crazy. Not as sleek as I would prefer doesn't come with screws to help it tighten but does the trick with just the big place screw piece came quickly so I gave it 4 stars

Grip is okay but didn't suit my tastes. It's a bit heavier than I expected and it's a bit thicker than I had hoped. The finger grooves okay but kind of force you to hold your hand inline with the grip which isn't all that comfortable in my opinion. Pressure pads are nice but, at least on mine, the cutouts didn't fit flush on the grip.

Purchased this foregrip along with a Leapers quad rail hand guard, and am very pleased with both. The foregrip attached to the picatinny rail very solidly, and the ability to insert a pressure pad and store extra batteries are very nice features, making this by far exceed my expectations for the price of the part. However, I would be just as happy with this foregrip if it cost more. 5/5 for the part, 6/5 for CTD customer service.

I am personally a fan of Leapers products but this one is a bit out of touch for me. It attaches great onto my rifle but it's far too big for me.(I can't fit it into my soft case without removing the tightening peice) I gave it four because some of that was my fault. CTD did a great job. It's built solid and feels good. But if your looking for something sleek, this is not.

4 Stars because it's heavy enough to double as an impact device. Overall very sturdy, stout, and quite long. I cut mine down, removing everything below where you're ring finger goes, and figured out another way to attach it to my rail. That's just me, though. At this price they couldn't do it wrong as long as it doesn't snap in two, which this surely won't.

Very happy with this grip! I was worried after initially ordering that it would not fit on my WASR-10 and still allow me to feed a high capacity magazine. Fortunately, there is no conflict!. I can still use 30rd mags with no issue at all. Grip attaches very secure and fits the hand well. Would recommend this to anyone.

Bought this item on Tuesday, along with the UTG quad rail, and they came in on Friday. This grip is wider than I would like it to be, but is very sturdy. That is the only reason it has 4 bullets. Shot about 100 rounds on Saturday and it held with no problems. Even dropped it on the ground on accident, and it still held strong. Looks great on my custom AR-15. I LOVE UTG products and Cheaper Than Dirt!!!

Believe it or not, this is an excellent foregrip. I've used many other foregrips before, especially in the military. This is by far one of the best. It's simple, durable, well constructed, and comfortable. The battery compartment is useful if you're running EOTechs, Flashlights, lasers etc. The grip is a bit wider than most for better comfort, especially in larger/longer hands. And it secures snugly into the rail system. Can't beat the price.

Ive been parusing the net
Ive been parusing the net for the last 2 days looking for the best foregrip I could find, and this one is it. Some say its weight is a factor, but anything you add to your rifle is going to make it heavier. SOLID construction and design. I got 2 of these, one went on my DPMS Panther, rock solid onto my quadrail, and the second to the tactical pump on the 870 Supermag. Easily detaches and reataches to any picatinny rail system. The bottom unscrews to a huge storage compartment, O ring sealed. If your looking for a sturdy, affordable forgrip, then stop looking, because this is it.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT if you're intending to mount this on an AK, 12 guage shotgun, or any kind of 30 cal rifle. The nipple WILL break off. It'll probably be fine if mounted to a .22 or even a .223 (wouldn't risk it though). This grip cannot take a beating, so be very careful with it.

I'm not a Tier 1 Operator
I'm not a Tier 1 Operator, so I don't need a hundred dollar VFG. That being said, this is a nice grip. It secures tightly to my rail, and holds the tape switch for my light just fine. As others have said, it IS a little fatter than some other VFGs. I like the way it fills my hand though, so it works for me. Overall, I'd say, unless you're doing HALO jumps from the Space Shuttle, BUY THIS GRIP.

I received this item toda
I received this item today and bolted it directly to my DPMS Panther AP-4 that also sports the UTG Carbine length Quad rail and a Stream light TLR-1 light. While this product does add weight to an already front heavy Carbine, I can hardly find a reason to complain. The material, machine work and finish on this piece are all top notch, and I prefer the metal construction to the mountains of polymer parts out there. This grip is big on the outside and fills an average hand quite well; the internal storage has enough room to hold 2 AA Batteries side by side or 2 CR123 vertically and has plenty of room to pack cleaning patches in to eliminate noise. It can also accommodate a spare bolt, several pins, small parts or 7 extra rounds of 5.56 X 45MM ammo. Lastly I once again have to complement Cheaper Than Dirt on the Quickness in which my order was received and delivered, placed on Wednesday at 0200 hours, on doorstep Friday at 1200 hours.

I used this forgrip on my M4 carbine in Iraq. It felt comfortable but the pressure switch area is too small for military pressure switches (PEQ-15, TAC lights etc). It was durable and stable enough to use as a stand alone monopod while shooting. The compartment is water/dust tight and is great for 123 batteries or similar accessories. I also have a SIG SWAT 556. The grip wouldn't slide on the rail. I had to force it on, but it stayed where I needed it once I secured it. This is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5.

This foregrip is for AR-1
This foregrip is for AR-15/C4 but I bought it for my Mossberg 500 that I have costumed, and I'll tell you something this has been one of my most interesting purchases, This handle was really made for Mossberg, it fit perfect I did put a screw threw it but that happens when you customize any weapon, doesnuFFFDt matter how many times I rack my shotgun this is solid, I shot 25 rounds as fast as I could just to see if the handle would move and it did not even loosen a bit. Now I'm going to buy one for my M&P-15 for what it was primarily. I love it 'THANKS CTD' now can have extra bat. For my surefire on my 12ga. storage in the handle.
November 2, 2010
I've never used a high do
I've never used a high dollar grip, but this one works well for the money. I wouldn't mind having a more secure way to attach it to the rail [like a screw and nut], but it's secure enough that I handle my rifle with just the foregrip with no problems thus far. I've had it for several weeks now. I haven't submerged it to test water proofness of the battery compartment. It fits well to my larger hand. I would recommend to a friend.

I got lucky with this grip. I applied it to my LE6940 and I love the way it feels. I honestly wouldn't go with anything else and consider myself lucky for not having to buy three or four different fore-grips before I found the right one. What's not to like? It's comfortable with its highly ergo-friendly design. It has a storage slot to cache supplies, has two inserts that can be removed and replaced with pressure switches for the installation of a lighting/lazer system. I wouldn't go with anything else.

I just put 100 rounds through m4 with this foregrip and the little black nipple that twists into rail to secure broke off. Now the thing just slides around. This grip is pretty nice. I used some sticky velcro to mount my pressure switch from my Leapers laser and it works great. It also works great as a mono pod. Having said that I had to tighten it up with channel locks to get it to clamp down onto my tac-rail. If my rail had solid bars across intstead of the open ones in the middle it probably would not have slid out of place, but it did and the channel locks clamped it down tight enough to hold. I would recommend this to anyone with solid bars and will buy another.

Wasn't expecting much given the price of this grip, but I was impressed. Solidly built, mounts solidly to my UTG quad rail. Very happy with this product. Hope it lasts, but it's giving me no reason to think that it wouldn't. Once again - CTD shipped this lightning fast. Thanks.

This thing mated up perfectly to my Daniels Defence free float handguard on my M4gery, its easy to use and adjust, and its comfortable. I have put this thing under my former Army Infantryman 'gorilla testing' (I'm 6' @ 210-lbs and NOT weak). I pulled on it to stress it, knocked it around side to side... it stayed rock steady! I'm not saying its unbreakable, but it gets the job done. Great function & value for the money, and I would not say it if it were not so... GET SOME!! HUAH!!

I've owned quite a few of
I've owned quite a few of these, (at least 4) & consistently buy them because from a Tactical Perspective they offer value, balance, comfort, stowability, & most importantly they're the most useful & effective Foregrip I've found anywhere. I would've paid much more for a better Foregrip if there was one available, but the only one I've found to be even comparable is the CAA Grip with Mount, but that's almost 3 times as much money. With it's battery Storage compartment filled w/CR123 Replacements for your Tactical Flashlight, it's got a very solid & balanced feel. The two sliding panels on either side are the IDEAL size for holding any standard-sized Remote Flashlight Pressure-Switch (You don't even need glue if you buy the right size switch (it'll fit snugly into the grooves). So I have to rate this the best of the Tactical Foregrips, especially if you plan on mounting a Flashlight or Laser that requires a Remote Switch, because this is the best Foregrip design for remote switched applications.-Tactical Technology

Felt and looked great until it was put on a three rail forend and after 3 rem slugs out of an 870 broke off in hand. If intended use is anything other than an AR look the other way because this product is all cheap plastic. Huge disappointment.

This looked great and fit alright on my AR-15 at first. Slot for pressure switch is nice and internal compartment was good. With a bit of use however, I snapped it in half while adjusting along rail with my bare hands. Bought a CAA grip that works much better.

If your having problems like the guy named C.J. on here was having, DO NOT USE A DREMEL OR MALLET LIKE THEY DID. You have to take out the entire screw slide it on, then screw it back in, it slides between the rails on the picitanny and then tightens the sides together...I LOVE IT ON MY AR!!!!!!!!!

Got this grip for the price and size... I hate the tiny grips. It is not the best and sturdiest grip on the market... but it does work well for the price. It holds the AA batteries for my Eotech and holds the pressure pads for my light and I have fired about 1000 rounds with it on there, and it works great. If you want the one that will take a bullet and stay straight... go take out a loan, because they are expensive. The guy that gave this one bullet... should he really be employed by law enforcement? Using a hammer on plastic? Then wondering why it cracked? Send it back before you destroy it... everything comes with a return label!

This is a great grip to use on any picatinny rail except for one problem. The 'screw' or bolt or whatever that tightens it to the rail is made of plastic and as such it deformed when I was adjusting the grip on my rail. This could just be a problem with me but even cinched down all the way it still has a tiny bit of side to side wobble. Overall it's good but i'd rather have one with a metal bolt.

I bought this grip for the pressure pad cut out as well as the sturdy look. First I tried to use a mallet to get it to slide on. Then I used a file to try to smooth out the slide portion. Next I actually had to use a Dremel tool to grind out some of the plastic and still had to use a hammer to get it on the rails I bought from CTD. Needless to say the grip started cracking the first time I deployed it on duty as a Police Officer.

Absolutely can not be beat for the money. You could pay 70 and get the TD grip but I sure wouldn't. It is plastic but seems pretty stout, and the battery compartment is O-ringed which impressed me, plus it has a spring inside the handle to keep pressure on the batteries to keep them from rattling. If I was a pro I might spend the extra money to get something a little beefier but I'm not so this is great.

I bought this grip because it was the only one available at the time. I thought it looked quite bulky and would be cumbersome. In reality, its quite comfortable. It is bigger than most, but fits well in your hand. And even though it is a polymer grip, it feels very sturdy and attaches to my rails very well. Id definately recommend it.

I bought this for use on a Mossberg 500 with a picatinny rail forend. Much more comfortable than tommy-gun style pistol grip forends I've used that put your hand at an awkward angle and do not allow for anything but a standard grip. Works great with a streamlight mounted about 1.5 inches in front of it on the rail. Provides a good balance point to my shotgun and easy access to the streamlight switch. Very comfortable to hold in any position and great when working the shotgun's action. Bulky enough to feel sturdy without feeling like a baseball bat. My military days are far behind me so I can't comment on mil/field use, but for home defense and range use should do a bang-up job.

This is a great feeling grip and secures tightly to my tac rail. I had to cut away a bit of the support on the back of mine so I could quick detatch it by sliding it toward the receiver instead of also removing whatever I had installed in front of it and taking it off towards the muzzle like I believe was intended. As far as SPC 6's comment on it not being sturdy enough for combat, I have yet to fall on mine repeatedly or run it full force into a concrete wall so I have no comment other than it feels like is would take most non-combat wear in stride! And as for the guy who couldnt figure out how to attach his pressure switches: Remove battery compartment, Slide out either right/left side's textured plastic tab, Slide in pressure switch, cord side up(may require some gorilla glue to stay put), and DONE!

I've had this on my Bushmaster AR-15 since Feb. I bought a short rail to mount it on the bottom. So I could still just hold the forestock or use the grip. Terrific price. Very solid and well made. I have a tri-mount rail on the top. I have my tactital light and laser mounted on them. With the pressure switches mounted firmly in the slots that you take out the filler pieces. I don't trust the double-tape. So I got black cable ties and wrapped them around the swtiches top and bottom. Tightened them down and cut off the extra. If you get them positioned right they aren't in the way at all.

Unless I'm going blind, picture makes it look to be of better quality than it actually is. If I would have known that it was made out of plastic, I may have considered buying a different one. One of the first things I purchased for my first AR. I've never used another vertical grip, so I can't compare it to anything else, but it's comfortable and doesn't seem large to me (I have normal-sized hands). I put my AR-15 Forend Grip on my AK-47 I have a Tri-Rail Universal Barrel mount on my AK and a 5' Picatinny Riser added on to it to come back a little bit [so I am not stretching to hold it! I had a Romanain front grip ,but it did not allow you to hold it [very well] like a traditional rifle so I put the original wood front stock back on! but now! I have the best of both worlds! I can shoot it like a traditional rifle [holding the wood front stock] or I can hold it Tactical style! I have a 5mw Green laser on the side of the tri-rail and on the right hand side I have a Tactical flashlight [90 lumens] with 7per sec. strobe to blind perps in the dark[the darker the better!] the AR-15 Forend grip works great! ,just line up the holes on your Picatinny rail tighten it down and 'go to town!' the only thing I did not care for was you need a coin or a common screwdriver [with a thick wide blade] BUT I have the fix it that worked for me! I took out the old drimmal with a thin cutting wheel and found that a quarter is just a little smaller than the slit so I cut about 1/4 off so it was the length of the slit, then I super glued that quarter in the slot! once dry I used some grill spray paint to give it a flat black look. Now I can get them three 123 batterys in no time and it don't look bad! I put My laser pressure switch in the grip {it fit tight, but better tight than not! } and it works great! I can reach the flashlight button no problem! [I use my thumb! If you buy this it is going to be the best $11.97 you ever spent! 5-STARS!!!!!!!!

Great product for little $$$. The slots are really great for mounting light/laser pressure switches. True it's a little bigger than other foregrips but if you have bigger hands it's actually better. For those wondering why they didn't get pins or screws for this...YOU DON'T NEED THEM!!! This unit attatches the same way that my knights Armament foregrip does. The center post uses pressure to hold it to the rail. I've had a knight armarment on my current M4 and several prior including the one I carried in the Marine Corps and on a SWAT Team, and never had a problem with wiggling loose. The only reason I purchased this one is because of the slots for the pressure pads. Take it from a professional who relies on equiptment to keep myself and others alive, this will be a great purchase.

This one doesn't come with a pin or screw nor does it need to. When you screw out that tube, slide it on the rail, then you screw the tube back in, look through that hole in the side and you'll notice when you screw the tube in a knob sticks up to hold the grip in place on that rail. It works good, I have this on my AR15 and will probably buy another one for my FAL when I get it.

Customer service emailed me, and they are sending me another grip. I have since figured out that this one attaches to the rail by tightening the bottom of the compartment tube against the rail. It seems to work fine, but I would have not ordered it had I know it attached to the rail in this manner. I would prefer screws. But for the money, it seems to be a good grip. It feels tight once in place. I have not got to shoot with the grip yet, but it seems like a secure fit.

This grip seems fine, except that mine did not come with any type of screw or pin to push through the holes to secure it to a rail. Anyone else have this problem? Also, you will need a flat screwdriver or similar tool to remove the cap for the compartment. The entire plastic tube screws out easily, but the cap to open to gain access to the contents of the compartment is slotted and recessed requiring some type of flat edge to open it. I have contacted customer service and am awaiting a reply as to if they will ship me a screw or pin for it. It did not come with any way to affix it to the rail.

This is a neat little grip. Super easy to put on, and feels great. No worries about your hand slipping off as the pressure switch inserts on each side have a sand paper like texture to insure a good grip when you don't have any pressure switches mounted in there. My only beef is the pressure switch for my laser is a little too narrow and just pops in and out, so I have to use some electrical tape to hold it in place. But that's my fault because I bought a cheap laser, lol. Maybe some of the better ones use a more standardized pressure switch size. But a great grip, especially for the price!

Just bought this grip for my Rock River AR-15 and it's awesome. I prefer this over the cheaper normal vertical grip because it's a little fatter so your hand wraps around it more comfortably. And I bet people who spent $60 on a Tango Down is crying in their beers right now. I say buy this before Leapers gets sued because it's an almost exact copy at 1/6 the price. Can't beat that.

Great accesory for any ra
Great accesory for any rail system. I really liked the fact there's no bolt and screw, it's very simple. Oh and as for the battery compartment it looks like it's meant to be opened with a quarter.

Nice and tight, only problem was one of the two I ordered stripped slightly when I unscrewed the battery case. It was a pain to get back in straight but I did. Wish there was a download page for pictures to show these products being used, that would be cool. Great price for this grip.

I have purchased all there of these grips, black, coyote and green, all have performed well. A litttle bulky but very comfortable. Side pressure pad panels are great, battery sotrage is good, 2 AA or 3 123 Lithium. End cap is both slotted and 'knurled' which is good to have BOTH features.

this is really a good gri
this is really a good grip. both side pressure switch slots are great for lights and laser cords. the only flaw i've found is the sloted cap on the storage compartment and the plastic tip that sets in the rail mount . it;s holding up very well after a year of heavy use on M4. I would buy another one.
