Leapers makes all kinds of great firearm accessories, and proves that the art of the polymer magazine hasn’t been mastered by only one company with a name starting in “M.” We present to you the UTG mag, which can be heavily abused and still relied upon to deliver clockwork feeding into the chamber!
Glass-reinforced polymer construction, which shrugs off impact and all other sources of damage. Four-way anti-tilt follower, which is blue to help you know for sure then the mag is empty. Large windows on either side, which show exactly how many more rounds are at your immediate command. High-longevity stainless steel spring, which will not be harmed as a result of long-term compression. Removable floorplate for E-Z cleaning. And thanks to its textured surface, you don’t have to worry about the UTG mag slipping out of your hand at the worst possible moment.
And the best part of all? You’re not just getting one UTG mag. You’re getting *ten* of them!

Better than many others!
They work fantastic on my Colt, DPMS, Bushmaster, and my Anderson. Great price great reliability. Put them on sale again at a low price and I will purchase 10 more.

Design Flaw
Although the price seemed great, they were made in Taiwan, which may or may not explain the design flaw which requires one to depress the magazine release in order to insert it into the AR-15 mag well.
I took one to the gun store where I work, and it was the same for every AR-15 we had in stock. I do not recommend buying these.

Can ranger mag tabs fit on these?
Answer:
Hi William! I asked Leapers just to make sure. "They said: They should not be compatible. It does look close but the front curved cut is a different angle than the Magpul mags. We did include a slot in the base plate that could be used to attach a pull strap potentially. Please see picture below." Here's the photo they included: https://i.ibb.co/bjZ4YnQf/image006-1.png
I have a radical firearms 47. Mags are harder to come by. When I do find them they're not cheap. Will these mags function properly with this rifle?
Answer:
Hello! If it's an AR-15 chambered for 7.62x39, then it ought to accept one of these magazines (not one designed for 5.56/.223): https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/parts-and-accessories/magazines/ar-15-magazines/762x39mm-mags
Will these work with an Anderson Manufacturing AM15?
Answer:
Yes sir!
Will these work in a mini 14?
Answer:
No sir. The Mini-14 doesn't accept AR-15 magazines. You want one of these: https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/parts-and-accessories/magazines/ruger/mini-14?caliber=839
Will 300 Ham’r ammo work reliably in these magazines?
Answer:
Hi RD! You should always expect the most reliable performance out of a dedicated .300 HAM'R or .300 BLK magazine. That being said, this is a well-constructed .223/5.56 mag, and should perform correctly with .300 HAM'R (though I can make no guarantees having neither inspected nor tested your rifle).
Are these mags considered gen 3 mags or are they old gen 2 ?
Answer:
Hello! Leapers doesn't specify that.
Will they feed and operate properly with a .300 blk out
Answer:
Yes sir. Although nothing can beat the reliability of a dedicated 300 BLK magazine, this 5.56/.223 mag should do a serviceable job for you.
Any problem using these with a Bushmaster Carbon 15?
Answer:
None that I know of, sir. This magazine ought to function just fine with that rifle.
Will the Maglula - StripLULA Gen II work (flawlessly) with these Magazines?
Answer:
Hello again Kevan! Here's Maglula's answer: "We have not tried this magazine with the StripLULA, but it seems it will work fine."
