It does not sit in center line with the top of the receiver and dos not center on the iron sights. It is not the rifle it is the scope mount. It also looks like it sits a little higher in the front. I am not happy at all with it at all.

Will this mount work on a Wasr 10 ? With the rail actually centered over the dust cover ?

Yes this will fit your model. This mount was designed to be centered over bore, but due to the side rail variants in AKs the mount may be offset. Please note, minor fitting may be required.
