Lancer Octagon carbon fiber light rails use a combination of carbon fiber and resin that will resist the heat of high volume fire and is rigid enough for heavy use. As rigid and impact resistant as aluminum free float designs, this handguard case cooling slots that will accept accessory rail hardware. Certain components are made with 7075-T6 aluminum, such as the upper receiver extension. An aluminum Picatinny sight rail is included at the 12 o'clock position, and there is a hole at 6 o'clock for a swivel stud for use with a bipod.
