Lancer L7AWM Magazines Feature A Hybrid Polymer/Steel Design
The L7AWM is an AR-10/SR-25 pattern rifle magazine constructed from a proprietary lightweight polymer with hardened steel feed lips that wrap completely around the magazine, maximizing stiffness and reliability while preventing dimpling in the front of the magazine. A switchable drain lock in the floor plate comes standard on all L7's, allowing the user to configure the magazine for marine applications or extremely dusty conditions.Lancer Advanced Weapons and Components L7AWM SR-25/DPMS LR-308/AR-10 Magazine (Translucent Flat Dark Earth) Specifications and Features:

The Diamond level of mags.
If you have polymer mags you may notice the mag catch can begin to wear down. I put a strike industries mag catch on an lr .308 once and it literally tossed polymer mags with every shot. Steel mag catches still worked, that in its self says something. I love my Magpul mags and pro mags but as a combat vet I do prefer the steel catch, with these mags you get the smooth action of a polymer but secure locking strength of steel. Little stiff at first, have to break in feed lips action on BCG to get best performance. I have a few of these, worth having in your Box. Pros: Hybrid mag steel where it counts
