The Kinetic Development Group MREX Mark II, otherwise known as the Modular Receiver Extension, has been serving not only the civilian shooting community, but also special operations units in combat for over 4 years. With a successful track record, KDG sought to build on the success by improving the ergonomics and adding M-Lok slots at the 2 and 10 o’clock positions, thanks to the feedback from commercial and military customers. Don't miss your opportunity to own the latest version of the popular extension for your favorite rifle platform, the FN SCAR 16/17.
The MKII will be offered in three different lengths instead of two. The lengths available will be the MKII 6.5, 4.25 and 2.2. These designations signify the length that the MREX MKII extends (in inches) beyond the SCAR upper receiver. The 6.5" length is the ideal full-size rail extension, same as its predecessor (MREX M-Lok 6.5). KDG has updated the MREX M-Lok 4.9 (mid-length) to an overall length of 4.25" to accommodate the needs of issued rifle users. This length is ideal for use on a SCAR MK17 with a 13" barrel and issued FNH suppressor. Finally, the MKII 2.2 is designed for use with SCAR 16 10" SBR configurations, or any SCAR user looking to add M-Lok to their rifle without having a rail that extends beyond the gas block.
Building on the success of the original SCAR MREX, the MREX Mk II is ready to take its place in the shooting and special operations community. The MREX Mark II is also available in black color versions.
