The Kershaw CQC-11K D2 is based on the Emerson Rendezvous, but adds an ultra-high quality D2 steel blade! D2 steel is a high-carbon and high-chromium tool steel that holds a very sharp edge, is very hard, and is more resistant to corrosion than other high-carbon steels. For the handle, the CQC-11K D2 utilized a G10 front scale and a 410 stainless steel back with contouring to deliver a secure and comfortable grip. The original Emerson Rendezvous knife was designed as a hunting knife and this updated version's large blade is ideal for processing game. But the CQC-11K D2 can easily take on a wide variety of daily tasks and everyday jobs, making it a great choice for an everyday pocket knife.
