Long-time fans of Russian-made ammo will recognize all of this ammo’s cost-effective features. Steel cases, to reduce upfront costs. Steel-jacketed FMJs, to do the same. Berdan primers, which are a touch cheaper to make than Boxer primers albeit no less noncorrosive.

This ammo’s cases and primers make it non-reloadable. Its “magnetic” bullets make it a no-go at more than a couple of indoor gun ranges, too. To most shooters, those are welcome tradeoffs for a more welcoming price tag.

“Kaiser” is a trademark of Turaç, which has operated out of Turkey since its foundation there in ‘87. Their products’ quality generally isn’t on par with an American outfit’s best work – but their prices aren’t the same, either.
