Nice solid light with the right features
Wow. My goodness, what a perfect flashlight for me. It is rechargeable through USB-C, which is awesome. The light is amazingly bright and clear; they advertise 500 lumens and it seems to be all that. Easily focused and stays bright and clear. It also has a dimming feature which is nice because it conserves power while staying pretty bright. The slide is not just a gimmick, it transforms into a very bright fluorescent type of work light, it's like my workshop in the palm of my hand. The slide is also robust and solid, feels like it seals tightly. And both lights can go to red light for stargazing at night. And the light is programmable, so when you get the settings you like, you can save it so that becomes the new default setting when you turn it on. One more key piece for me; I wanted a "heavy" light, something substantial, something I know that I'm holding. It's not long and real heavy like a D-cell Maglight, but it is bulky and feels like I'm swinging a short cudgel. Quite literally this is now my everyday go-to flashlight, I am quite happy with it.
