In 1941, with the US being pulled into one of the greatest conflicts in world history, a division of General Motors was tasked to support the war effort.
The result was firearm history with Inland Manufacturing becoming one of the largest gun manufacturers in the US, producing nearly 3 million firearms in less than 5 years.
The most notable of Inland's firearm production was the .30 Caliber M1 carbine and the folding stock variant, the M1A1 Paratrooper model.
Dayton, Ohio was home for the original Inland company, and is now the home of the new Inland Manufacturing located just two miles from the original facility. Today's Inland Manufacturing is now producing a new line of .30 caliber M1 carbines and 1911 style pistols.

No Good
NOT GOOD. The only way these mags work in my Inland Carbine is to insert them then pull the mag backwards while firing. Had the same problem with a couple I purchased directly from the manufacturer. Spend your money on a different brand.

Would buy again
This is top notch quality, my M1 came with some cheap mag that fit fine until you loaded it. Inland MFG is as close to original as you will get. Loads great and feeds perfectly!

Excellent Quality
Just like original magazine

Defective. Worked in one Carbine but not another.
I think there's a defect in the design. The "teeth" which are supposed to hold the mag in the gun are too short to engage, causing the mag to fall out. It is worthless to me in one of my 2 carbines. Cons: Teeth are too small to hold into gun.

No better than a promag.
No better than a promag. Doesn't fit perfectly like a GI mag, but they do fit if you know how to insert them. If you don't angle them toward the trigger guard as you insert them with a firm or brisk shove the well catch will not pickup of the studs to lock the magazine into the well. M1 carbines are sloppy anyway, not modern precision. The one I received feeds and ejects 15+1 BUT save money and just get the promag.
