Get Your Light Closer to the Firearm with the THORNTAIL2 SBR Light Mount

Up to .250" of lateral adjustment of your weapons mounted light or laser is now possible with the 3-position mounting system. This lets you get your light or laser closer to the axis of the bore. The 45 degree offset provides for six total ambidextrous mounting solutions on a 3-sided M-LOK rail system. The 45 degree offset provides for ergonomic activation while positioning the light as close to the firearm as possible. The forward mounting, low-profile design does not impede operation of the firearm or interfere with back-up iron sights. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and weighing only 1.11 ounces this light mount is ultra-lightweight and very strong. The Thorntail 2 SBR Light Mount saves weight, eliminates components, improves adjustability. By removing the factory thumb-screw 1913 rail mount from Surefire's M300, M600 Scout and Streamlight Protac Railmount 1, 2 & HL-X, directly attach your Light to Thorntail 2 SBR via the two threaded holes in the square lugs on your Light with our included hardware. This saves weight, provides adjustability and reduces light height on your firearm. The Thorntail 2 SBR also accepts replacement M300 and M600 bodies, including BACKBONE.
