Optimize Your SBR Light Location with the THORNTAIL2 Picatinny Light Mount

If you are running a Surefire Scout series light you need a THORNTAIL2 Mount. The box construction design reduces weight while increasing strength. the THORNTAIL2 offers multiple mounting positions and .250" of lateral adjustment. This lets you get your light in the optimal position adjacent to the weapon's 12 o'clock top rail, front sight, laser aiming device or other accessories. The forward mounting, low-profile design does not impede the operation of the firearm or interfere with back-up iron sights. The Thorntail2 Picatinny SBR Light Mount saves weight, eliminates components and improves adjustability. By removing the factory thumb-screw 1913 rail mount from Surefire's M300, M600 Scout and Streamlight Protac Railmount 1, 2 & HL-X, directly attach your Light to Thorntail2 SBR via the two threaded holes in the square lugs on your Light with our included hardware. This saves weight, provides adjustability and reduces light height on your firearm. Thorntail2 SBR also accepts Cloud Defensive REIN, Modlite & replacement M300 and M600 bodies, including BACKBONE. Directly attaches to any 1913 Picatinny compliant rail system. Ambidextrous with 8 total mounting solutions on 8-sided 1913 MIL-Spec Picatinny rail systems. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and weighing only 1.041 ounces this light mount is ultra-lightweight and strong.
