Highly accurate, high BC, highly effective Bullet
I have used several thousands of these bullets, all with better than excellent results. The unusually high ballistic coefficient of this bullet more than than makes up for the lower initial muzzle velocity due to quite substantially reduced wind drift. With my Ruger #1 in 6mm, I consistently get between 0.30 and 0.50 five to seven shot groups (anything less than that is a gun writer prostitution himself to sell advertising – I am a physicist, mathematician and USMC Colonel). The explosive performance on hated ground rats (AKA: Squirrels) is spectacular. My only problem with them is the high cost. I also use my 22-250 AI with 60 gr. bullets, fast twist bull barrel but wind drift makes shots beyond 400 meters quite difficult. The 6mm reaches out to 500 meters with a higher hit probability.
