Great For Coyotes
Shooting a Howa M-1500 with a Bushnell Trophy scope this round is great for coyotes out to 350 yards without holdover. I prefer this over 22-250 or 223 for coyote and smaller predators/varmints.

Light, Hard Hitting Round
I shoot these through a Savage Model 25, and a light built AR with a 16 inch barrel. Its great in the open, but in brush you need something heavier. Coyotes don't have a chance, and the rounds are devastating when they hit. The Savage has a 22 inch barrel and it is more stable past 250 yards unless there is a breeze.

You cannot go wrong with
You cannot go wrong with this round. My rifle is the Model 12 Varminter Low Profile. I have 'tested' every factory load commercial made prior to my selection of the Hornady. In my indoor range; the Hornady shot extremely consistent group (nickel size) at 100 yards. The other bullets were about half-dollar groups. I used news paper bundles (wet & dry X 1 FT thick) and had penetrations of two bundles. The poly tip disintegrates after two feet penetrations. This bullet will penetrate uFFFDuFFFD plywood without an issue. The bullet produces one shot kills on ground hogs and coyotes. Small entrance hole uFFFD massive exist wounds. The .204 is a sonic caliber (faster then the speed of sound) uFFFD as result, I have found this round to be unaffected by wind. It is simply too fast. In my evaluations-I have found the 32 gr. to produce slightly large wounds then the .40 gr. I might also add that the price listed by CTD is the best you will find. I have seen this product for as much as $24/Box in some of the well known retail stores. NOTHING shoots bettern my rifle. Not to brag, but I have split weeds at 50 yards. This is a popular caliber - stock up while you can!!

Use this round in my Ruge
Use this round in my Ruger #1 varmint rifle. I have a Set trigger installed with a 1.5 lb pull. Very consistent loading with no surprises consistently on the mark. I do not think I could load this round as consistently and would not want to try. This is the only round I shoot in this rifle and the results are excellent. I buy this by the case from CTD.

My experience with this l
My experience with this load is nothing but the best. I shoot a Savage FV12 with the accu-trigger along with a Meuller 8.5x25 Eraticator scope. My lonest shot with this round was at 387 yds. My target was a whistle pig that didn't know what hit him. When these rounds hit their mark, it's all over. Great round Hornady!!! Oh... Ordering from CTD, expect a speedy shipment. You guys are awesome!!!

standard .204 round as yo
standard .204 round as you would expect... bullet explodes nearly on impact. the reason im righting a review is that this is so for the best fit for my AR outside of hand loads. works on critters just fine.
