Used these to go hog hunt
Used these to go hog hunting. I let my buddies use some rounds as well, to great affect. The round didn't dump all it's energy into 180lb hogs. Didn't find one round that stayed in the animal. But once hit, bleedout was fast.

This Ammo is extremely accurate and consistent. Shooting 10 shot groups inside the diameter coin size of a quarter @ 100 meters with an HK assault rifle. Feeds flawless during 3, 5 and 30 RD bursts. Above all I prefer the Hornady match because it is extremely CLEAN burning. Cleaning time is cut in half compared to other Ammo I've used.

First time trying this ammo...and I just shot three consecutive five-shot groups at 100 yards that you can cover with a dime, plus two consecutive five-shot, less than 1/2 moa groups, at 200 yds before the rain set in, shooting my 16-1/2', 1 in 8, Patriot Ordinance Factory 415 Recon, with a Nikon 6X18 Mil-Dot Buckmaster. I expect the 300 yard groups to shoot as tight, if it will ever stop raining. Most accurate ammo I have shot through this rifle, and buying a bunch more from CTD as soon as I submit this! Thanks CTD, for the lowest prices I've found anywhere!

This ammo is great. I hate spending the money for quality ammo because the cheaper stuff works in my rifle. At 300 yards it is deadly. Very tight grouping. I will save this for hogs and deer. I will use the cheaper stuff for coyotes and plinking. I will buy more when I need. As always, great turn around on ordering. I ordered 10 boxes in the morning one day, and received it next day at 11 am. Other sites should learn to do that.

Well I got my chance to shoot a deer with this round last season. Put one of these through the pump station of an 8 pointer at 80 yds, he took about 5 steps and dropped! I am amazed with all the Hornady ammo I use, this is one of the best rounds they make!!

I bought a 100 rnds of this stuff and it is outstanding. Out of my NM AR it was consistently making 1/2 moa groups or better at a 100 yds. Then I shot it at a metal plate at 300 yd's that was only about a foot or so wide and a about a foot and a half tall. It was almost too easy to hit center with these, even with a strong cross wind. So bottom line is that they make tiny groups and can buck the wind. Great commercial match round.

I purchased the several boxes of .223 Hornady Match 75 Grain ammo. I shoot a Stag Arms 6L with a has a stainless steel heavy barrel featuring a 1/8 twist. I had read several articles about the ability to obtain the best accuracy with a 1/8 twist barrel by using a 75 grain round. I am extremely satisfied with this particular brand and weight. After taking the time to properly sight in the rifle to the round, I found that I had a great combination of rifle and ammo necessary to achieve the tack driving accuracy I was looking for. I have taken a coyote and a very nice 8 point buck with this round. The buck ran about 30 yards after a well placed hit. After field dressing the deer, it was quite apparent that the round had definitely done its job.

I shot a 300lb hog right under the ear at 50 yards with this round and the hog didn't take one step! Dropped right where he was eating. This is a great round to hunt with. I wouldn't hesitate to shoot deer either with this round.
