I picked up several boxes
I picked up several boxes of this ammunition a while back for a second rifle on an African hunt. The rifle was a Marlin Trapper model topped with a compact 1.75 x 6 scope. This was amazingly accurate, consistently shooting 3 shot groups less than 1.25' at 100 yards, many much less. The only animal taken with this combo was a Bush Pig hunted in the cane fields of Natal with chase dogs. I was told the shooting would be close, very close. Imagine running through 10' tall cane with a visibility of basically nothing following the sound of hounds. The shot eventually was placed in the forehead at a range of appx. 18' as he was running between my legs. The pig was about 125 kg's. The bullet was not recovered. No follow up was required.
