I am using a Marlin lever
I am using a Marlin lever gun in 35 Remington. I switched from 200 grain round nose to 200 grain flex tip and the performance gain was absolutely awesome. One 75 yard shot left animal dead in its tracks with a 3' exit wound. Another deer in the freezer. This bullet will hold 1' at a hundred not bad for a lever gun made in 1957.

How would these do in a 35 whelen?
Answer:
These projectiles are compatible with 35 Whelen. I have not seen Hornady using these exact heads in their factory ammunition and I am not seeing much online discussion regarding how these bullets perform in 35 Whelen. However, Barnes and Nosler use similar bullets with same grain weight and polymer tips in their factory 35 Whelen ammo, so this will likely work well.
how well does it preform at sub sonic level ie 350 legend
Answer:
I would assume poorly, as these bullets are intended for 2000+ fps
