Looking for a great way to keep your 6.8 SPC skills finely honed *without* breaking the bank on match or hunting bullets? Then here’s your chance to put Hornady’s own Nebraska-made full metal jackets to work the next time you hit the gun range!

It’s brass-cased, reloadable, noncorrosive, nonmagnetic, and suitable for all 6.8 SPC blasters. It’s Hornady Frontier, which is the Nebraskan manufacturer’s way of making range training more affordable. These rounds’ 110 grain FMJs are fine for varmint hunting if you can do without explosive explosive terminal performance. We’re sure a skilled hog hunter could make good use of them, too, and they’d sure beat the heck out of nothing during a home invasion.

At the time of writing, Hornady has not reported this round’s G1 ballistic coefficient. They did report 2,550 fps muzzle velocity and 1,468 fps 500-yard velocity with their 16” test barrel, though, which lets us calculate this approximate trajectory: 0yds: -1.5” → 100yds: 6.1” → 200yds: 7.1” → 300yds: 0.0” → 400yds: -17.1” → 500yds: -46.9” → 600yds: -92.5”.
