The 62 grain full metal jacket bullet often wears green paint to evince its partial steel “penetrator” core. This round’s 62gr FMJ is unpainted, however, as its core is entirely made of lead. That and its copper-alloy jacket makes the bullet totally nonmagnetic, so you can confidently fire this ammo at ranges which ban the magnetic stuff.
