The 9.3x62mm is a popular round in both Europe and North America. It is a rimless cartridge that is designed to approximate the performance of the classic 9.3x74R cartridge that earned a great reputation for being able to put game down. This ammunition is loaded to original specifications to ensure that it will work equally well in vintage and newly manufactured rifles.

I ran a box of this through my new CZ 550 FS 9.3x62 (Leupold VX3 2.5-8 x 36) to see how it shot. It was 3 inches high at 100, 1 inch low at 200, and about 15 inches low at 300. (Point of impact at 300 yards was between the 300 and 400 hash on my Boone & Crockett reticle.) The best part is that I shot two sub 2 inch groups at 300 yards, with 2 of the 3 going into the same hole on 1 group. Wow. 10 mph crosswind only pushed the 286 grain bullets about 2 inches at 300 yards. Recoil is heavy but soft. I slipped a Limbsaver pad on for bench shooting and after 30 rounds my shoulder was not sore at all. This may be my new favorite rifle/caliber and this ammo is quality stuff. I haven't shot anything but paper yet, but so far, so good.
