As such, it catapults its 185 grain bullet at a muzzle velocity of 1,150 fps (5” barrel), which translates to close-range striking energy that rivals some 10mm Auto loads.

A traditional jacketed hollow point may fail to expand if fabric, wallboard particles, or other debris lodges inside its nose cavity. The Flex Tip eXpanding is not a traditional JHP. Its nose cavity contains a polymer tip, which blocks debris out and enables reliably fast and wide expansion upon impact with the threat.
