This cartridge owes its subsonic muzzle velocity (~100 fps lower than the speed of sound from a 16” test barrel) to its bullet’s weight: 208 grains, which is heavy for the 300 BLK. That’s exactly what you want for a suppressor. The bullet’s jacketed base greatly diminishes lead fouling as well.

The bullet’s not just heavy. It’s the ELD Match, which is designed inside and out for high accuracy. The ELD Match’s polymer tip is not there to trigger terminal expansion. Its job is to minimize drag, which it shares with the ELD Match’s boat tail and secant ogive jacket profile. The ELD-Match's swaged lead core and Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket both enhance its stability to a degree that earns the bullet a .648 G1 ballistic coefficient.
