This is great ammo it hit
This is great ammo it hit its mark each and every time,100 yards is no problem to hit a bullseye. Buy this ammo over remington as remington slugs were all over the place up to 14 inches off at 100 yards.

Use them in my Mossberg,
Use them in my Mossberg, with a rifled barrel and 6-18x50 scope, this ammo is just great. At 50 yards ever round was right in the middle. At 100 yards it was the same. Very little adjustment. Will buy much more.

At 100 yards this ammo hits hard and is great for deer and feral hogs. Have many boxes of this and will get more of this. With a rifled barrel and good scope , great for hunting. One shot one kill.

I shot a medium sized doe
I shot a medium sized doe at around 50-60 yds from my stand through light cover. The deer dropped instantly. After reaching the deer, light blood found on entrance side, no visable hole. After shuffling hair back and forth, found an entrance wound about 1/4 inch in diameter. Exit wound was about the size of a nickel. Upon dressing the deer I found significant damage internally with a direct hit on the heart, and it appears that the slug performed well. The only issue I had is the expansion of the slug. It did appear to expand, but not as much as other slugs I have seen. In my opinion, the Winchester Elite did a lot more damage at about the same distance, but the FTX round is designed to shoot straighter farther. So, if you want distance this is the round, but for all out damage the Winchester Supreme Elite would be my recommendation.

This slug shoots very fla
This slug shoots very flat. I sighted my scope to +1.5' at 50 yds. Took a buck at 97' yards with one single shot. POI was POA. I highly recommend these Hornady SST 20 gauge slugs.

Kind of pricy in 20ga cla
Kind of pricy in 20ga class, but well worth it. Very flat shooting, 75 yards and under it hits hard! Took a doe 2 seasons ago @ 45 yards, didn't run nowhere! Awesome performance!!
