“Ten bullets through one hole” is the philosophy that brought Hornady Manufacturing from a two-man operation in 1949, to a world-leading innovator of bullet, ammunition, reloading tool and accessory design and manufacture today. Hornady outperforms their competitors by ensuring the products they make are what the customers want right now, and then accurately predict and manufacture what they’ll want and need in the future.
Hornady XTP Bullets are designed for high performance, high pressure hunting and defensive applications. The XTP Hollowpoint offers controlled expansion across a great range of velocities, to 1.5 times the original diameter of the bullet. A heavier than usual jacket is used to ensure that the bullet stands up to the higher pressures assosciated with hunting and defensive loads.

best bullets ever imho
Anyone that can confuse the listed description for this bullet for a loaded round should never be allowed to touch a gun. Any gun. Ever. For any reason. It describes the qualities of this projectile perfectly. Hence, >>>no listed velocity or energy data. If you question this round just shoot it in a pile of sand and dig it out and weight it and measure the expansion. This round puts a hurting on wild boar with a 10mm. If I go bear hunting i'll have my 10mm with this bullet in +P+ hand loads or my 460 Rowland cranking out hot XTP heavies. I also use them in my 40s&w for EDC because I trust my life with this bullet.

Not just for pistols
I shoot these in my .50 CVA Wolf muzzleloader with the blue crush rib sabot for deer hunting and can get 2" groups at 200 yards. Blew me away to see that kind of downrange consistency, at 2100fps muzzle velocity. Not sure of terminal performance as I haven't had a shot on an animal yet but at least I know I can count on the placement being there.

These rounds may perform
These rounds may perform well, I can't say. But my reasoning for the low score is that, nowhere in the description does it say that what you're buying is only the projectile (without the casing). The picture does display this but I guess I just assumed 'bullet' meant 'take out of the box and shoot.' I'm just a regular guy who requires hollow points for his security post. I don't own an ammo press. I should've known that $20 for 100 rounds is crazy cheap and there had to be a catch. Buyer be advised. CASINGS NOT INCLUDED
