Hornady Z-Max was developed in response to the upcoming Zombie apocalypsewell not really. Hornady Z-Max puts a Hollywood spin on a old favorite Hornady V-Max. The Z-Max projectiles are actually identical to the ever popular V-Max projectiles, with one major difference; the iconic red polymer tip has been traded in for a Zombie green tip. Depending on the particular projectile Z-max has both flat base and boat tail offerings which are caliber specific and provide you with incredible in-flight stability for long range shooting.
