To create the Messenger Hooks began by researching video footage that the Growingdeer team had collected of free ranging deer grunting. They wanted to design a call that mimicked the sound of a younger buck. After months of research and development the Messenger was field tested during the 2015 deer season with numerous deer responding to the call.
