I just ordered the Hogue Tamer Pistol grip with pillar bed fore end for a Remington 870 12 gauge. Does this kit come with the tool to remove and replace the fore end? If not, How can I get the tool?
Answer: Hello Bryan! No special tool required. The forend installs like any standard shotgun forend: unscrew the nut on front of the action bar, remove old forend, install new forend, screw nut back to tight. For the pistol grip, remove the current piece on the rear of the shotgun then put the grip onto the back of the receiver and screw it tight with the supplied screw.
