I love these things. Simple to install(a little common sense gun smithing will get it done), cleans up the look of any AR. If you are a paper shooter and have no real need for all the rails and gee gaws this is the hand guard to use. (The wall thickness is adequate for drilling and tapping for further customizing should you desire to do so) Stays put, low profile, sure and comfortable grip. Put them on each of my builds. Never any issues. Extremely durable.

Bought this for a 11.5 pi
Bought this for a 11.5 pistol barrel. Good quality handguard. Looks good, coating not easily scratched. Coating 'semi gloss'. Seems like a smaller diameter handguard to me. 45 bucks, can't go wrong. Typical Hogue quality. Only 4 bullets because I favor quad rails.
