I bought this for my subc
I bought this for my subcompact Springfield xd (.40 cal) the loader works great and was a huge time saver and finger saver. It definitely allowed me to spend less time on my reloads and more time sending rounds down range. Only reason it didn't get a 5 bullet rating was it doesn't fit on the 9 round mag that came with the gun. Other than than it works great for the 12 round mags. Best 10 dollar investment I've made in a while.

I have tried this loader
I have tried this loader on a S&W MP 40 and a Springfield XD 40. Both magazines load fast with no sore thumb. The last round is a bear as with any loader but this device loads faster and with less effort on the Springfield than the loader that came with the gun. I haven't timed it but I believe I can get a mag loaded in 18 seconds with practice. The only question (which time will tell) is how durable the plastic device is. For the price I'll get a couple of back-ups on my next CTD order.
