Will the Hera QCR work on a converted Saiga 5.45x39 rifle? It's my first Saiga and for some reason I'm having a lot of trouble finding info on the interchangeability of parts, especially pistol grips and butt stocks. Thanks.
Answer:
Yes, it should fit.
I live in New York but I regularly go out of state to shoot, in Pennsylvania obviously featureless grips are not required. Now I know that the Hera QCR stocks made for the AR allow you to remove the plate if you leave a ban state. My question is does the AK version allow someone to remove the plate and expose the grip should they leave a ban state and find themselves wanting to shoot in a free state?
Answer:
The plate is not removable and re-installable, just removable.
Can the plate covering the pistol grip be removed without cutting it?
Answer:
No, it cannot.
