This is a great buy. Pur
This is a great buy. Purchased for my mini30 and was not disappointed. This is a solid adapter and built for durability which is a plus in my book. I would give five stars but the adapter doesn't fit completely flush with the bottom of the stock. I saw another review that offered a solution to the issue, so it's not a deal breaker. A little TLC and elbow grease and I'll be right as rain. I also bought a Harris 6-9 inch bipod and boy am I satisfied with the combo. You won't regret this purchase because it opens a whole new avenue of options and accessories without modifying your gun from factory specs, thus retaining it's resale value. You did it again CTD! Thx.

The only reason I gave it
The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because it is a good idea, and a the only simple way to put a bipod on my mini.It gets loose after just transporting it to the range. Once there, you gotta fiddle with it until it gets tight (and level). Then you have to put it back on after shooting a mag through the mini.

Got one of these for my M
Got one of these for my Mini-14, and it works great. The only problem I had was that the end portion would raise from the stock, I fixed it by drilling a hole through the adapter and the stock and installing a flat nut inside the stock and coumtersinking the hole in the adapter and using a tapered Philips machine screw to tighten everything together. That is just me the adapter will work fine without what I did to mine. Still a great product.

Are you still able to keep the sling on while using the adapter ?
Answer:
That's going to depend on the bipod you use. Most (but not all) sling stud mounted bipods include a secondary sling stud. Typically the sling is repositioned to the sling stud on the bipod.
