Bought 4 of these; 2 to mount to bedside nightstands; 2 just in case we ever want to carry full-size pistols.cszeto's review is correct, the clips are extremely strong (a real pain to get on and off). However, for the two where I screwed the clips to the nightstands, the holster stays on the clip even when the pistols go into the gun safe during the day (I may never have to take them off again). For the two that are for 'just-in-case' carry, they may never get used (that's why cheap is O.K.And believe me - these are cheapHarsh material inside (they won't pamper your finish, or your sights)The clips are mounted too close to the fold at the top/front(?) of the holster. Mounted to the nightstand that is good (the grip sticks out like Ross Perot's ears); makes for quick and easy grab. There was not enough length to these holsters for either my M1911-A1, .45 cal., or my wife's Beretta Storm .40 cal. (maybe I ordered the wrong size?) I had to cut open the toe and let the barrels stick out (some minor reinforcing stitching needed). Overall they will do what I needed, but I'm glad the price was right.
