If you are using a MASH hook, CLASH hook, or Paraclip to attach your sling to an oval sling mount there is a better way. With a smaller profile the "D" loop QD swivel reduces excess movement along the mount. An oval mount is meant to be used directly with the sling. The "D" loop is meant to be used with a hook or clip. The recessed push button virtually eliminates unintended detachment of the swivel from the receiver.
