Griffin Armament was founded by two brothers, both combat veterans from Operation Iraqi Freedom. Their time in service left them both with hearing loss which drives them to manufacture suppressors to protect the hearing of fellow shooters. Because of Griffin Armament's knowledge in manufacturing, design, and understanding of suppressor applications, this has allowed the creations of industry leading suppressors and firearm solutions.

The Taper Mount Muzzle Brake, constructed of 17-4PH stainless steel, has 2 wear resistant baffles that increase suppressor service life. This 2 baffle muzzle brake also provides maximum braking and reduction in recoil. A shim set for timing is also included with each brake.
