When Glock Designed the GLOCK 41 they wanted to design something that would make the .45 line more accurate for both competition and duty use. To do this they increased the barrel and slide length giving the shooter a longer sight radius for more accuracy and also improving the weight distribution. With the heavier slide and barrel the muzzle rise has been diminished, allowing the ability to acquire and engage targets in rapid succession significantly. As with all Gen4 models from Glock the 41 comes with the Modular Backstraps allowing each shooter to custom fit their grip and hold to their personal comfort. The dual recoil spring assembly and the rough textured frame surface are also to highlighted features of the Gen 4 models. Whether running competition or carrying on duty the Glock 41 is what you need when time and accuracy is on the line.
The new and innovative MOS, or Modular Optics System, line of GLOCK handguns allows shooters to mount their choice of red dot sights directly to the pistol using a selection of numbered baseplate adaptors.
