This GGG 5.56 NATO ammunition uses the SS109 bullet which is a 62-grain M855 full metal jacket bullet. This type of bullet is comprised of a 27% steel tip that sits on a lead core which makes up the remainder of the bullet. This is the same as other SS109 "green tipped" bullets, without the paint.

The finished 5.56 rounds have sealed primers and come in a can with a rubber gasket; ideal for long term storage and moisture protection.

The Lithuanian company AB Giraites Ginkluotes Gamykla (GGG) is one of the more modern small arms ammunition manufacturers in the world. In 2005, GGG gained the right to mark its cartridges with the NATO interchangeability sign.
